Message Title: You Will Lead by a Different Model

Message Summary: What does it truly mean to lead by a different model? This message cuts to the heart of one of the most countercultural calls in all of Scripture. Drawing from Luke 22:25-26, where Jesus contrasts the domineering rule of worldly kings with the servant-hearted model he calls his followers to, we are challenged to examine the gap between the leadership the world celebrates and the leadership the kingdom of God demands. The world equates power with control, visibility with importance, and authority with dominance. But Jesus flips the entire script. The greatest among us, he says, will live as one called to serve. This is not a soft or passive idea. It is a radical and intentional posture that requires us to actively resist some of the most natural human impulses we carry, including the desire to be seen, to be right, and to be followed. We are invited to ask ourselves honestly whether the communities we build and the influence we carry are drawing people toward Christ or toward dependence on personalities and platforms. The spiritual maturity this message calls us toward is not about knowing more. It is about recognizing how much remains unknown, and letting that humility shape the way we lead, speak, and serve.
